Associate Vice President, Sustainability and ESG Reporting
Marié leads Hyatt’s global environmental sustainability platform and strategy development – a pillar to Hyatt’s World of Care platform. Focus areas include climate change and water conservation, waste and circularity, responsible sourcing, and thriving destinations. Additionally, she manages Hyatt’s ESG reporting. Fukudome holds a Master of Environmental Science and Management from University of California, Santa Barbara, where she specialized in corporate environmental management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health with an emphasis on environmental impacts on health from the Johns Hopkins University.

With over 15 years of hotel and hospitality experience, Zach Greer is Hyatt Hotel’s newest addition to the Company’s global Sustainability function. Dedicated to operationalizing and developing additional structure and culture around Sustainability, Zach works to tackle environmentally related operational challenges facing both hotels and stakeholders today. Zach has lived in five states across the U.S. from California to Louisiana and is currently based in Austin, TX. There he lives with his partner, Taylor, two dogs Roscoe and Archie, and cat Merlin. He loves attending music festivals, cooking with ingredients from his (sometimes successful) garden, dabbling in interior design, and of course, traveling! Having lived in New Orleans for a time, Zach is also always eager to chat all things Mardi Gras culture, regional food scenes, and the impact growing up in the South has had on his perspective on hospitality.
Analyst, Sustainability & ESG Reporting
Allison joined Hyatt’s Sustainability and ESG Reporting team in late 2022. In this role, she focuses on supporting the advancement of Hyatt’s 2030 environmental goals and data management of emissions, water and waste. Previously, Allison worked in the manufacturing sector, seeking to advance product transparency and product sustainability. Allison holds a Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Santa Clara University.

NEW CORPORATE COMMITMENTS TO HIRE REFUGEES — 46 companies that are part of the Tent Partnership for Refugees committed to hire 22,725 refugees in full time positions in the U.S., helping to advance the economic and social integration of refugees across the country. This is the most significant set of business commitments in support of refugees on record. CEF member commitments include: Amazon will hire at least 5,000 refugees; Hyatt will hire 500; Marriott International, 1,500; and PepsiCo, 500, all over a three year period. Hyatt Hotels announced three new global initiatives aimed at reducing single-use plastic waste at its properties by June 2021. The company plans to transition to large-format bathroom amenities to replace traditional small bottles, increase the number of water refill stations in key public spaces at its hotel properties, and serve water in carafes or other containers for meetings and events if bottled water is not requested.
