Ellen joined Disney in 2011. She manages public policy issues for The Walt Disney Company on a range of issues related to internet policy, human rights, privacy and children and the media. Prior to joining Disney, Ellen was on the Public Policy team at AT&T (2003- 2011) where she oversaw policy development on privacy, broadband deployment and universal service, access to ICT for people with disabilities, health care and tax related issues. She served as AT&T’s representative on the Telecommunications and Electronic and Information Technology Advisory Committee (TEITAC), a federal advisory committee examining access for people with disabilities to ICT. Ellen was previously Special Assistant to the Chief of the Wireline Competition Bureau at the Federal Communications Commission. During her tenure at the FCC she led the team drafting the FCC’s annual 706 reports on the status of the availability of broadband service, as well as a team which drafted significant new rules on the accessibility of telecommunications for people with disabilities. She was also part of the management team implementing the E-rate program which provides discounted internet and telecommunications services to schools and libraries and addressing universal service issues.
VP, Environmental Sustainability
Yalmaz helps drive progress towards the Company’s ambitious 2030 environmental goals. Previously, he was Vice President, Corporate Sustainability at MGM Resorts International, where he led ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) reporting and multiple environmental initiatives, including one of the hospitality industry’s largest and most well-regarded food donation programs. Prior to MGM, he was Senior Director of Sustainability at Office Depot. Yalmaz is also a thought leader on environmental sustainability and frequently speaks at industry events. He is a global expert on sustainable purchasing and served as founding chair of the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council
Director, Sustainable Design, Metrics & Reporting
Christine is responsible for the development of strategy and implementation of programs to achieve Disney’s environmental goals. She leads the Environmental Sustainability Metrics and Reporting team responsible for engaging all business segments to establish metrics, accurately track and report progress on the company’s environmental goals and targets. In addition, Christine oversees Sustainable Design focus area for the Disney’s built environment to ensure sustainability strategies and design solutions are integrated into new construction projects from initial planning phase to completion. Prior to joining the Disney Corporate team, Christine worked for Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products for 12 years and top-tier energy design firms, focusing on power generation and energy systems projects. Christine is a licensed Professional Engineer and LEED Accredited.
Director of Environmental Science and Policy
Kelley Greenman joined The Walt Disney Company in December 2019, bringing experience in project management, strategy development and execution, coalition building and partnerships, as well as communications across business, political and nonprofit sectors. She previously was Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, executing a range of strategy and change management projects from small businesses to Fortune 50 companies. Greenman also spent several years working at the U.S. Department of State and Department of Transportation, including serving as primary support staff to the Special Envoy for Climate Change, the lead U.S. climate negotiator. She also coordinated with the White House and oversaw diplomatic communications with over 30 embassies. Greenman holds a dual MPP/MBA degree from Harvard University.
Sr. Manager Sustainable Productions
Lisa has worked at the intersection of media and the environment for her entire career. As the Senior Manager of Sustainable Productions, her primary role is developing strategy and overseeing sustainability on the feature films, television shows, and documentaries produced by the company’s many studios. Prior to her role at Disney, Lisa was the Director of Sustainability at 20th Century Fox, leading Fox’s sustainable efforts on production as well as at the iconic Fox Studios Lot in Los Angeles and Fox Studios Australia. Lisa is also one of the founders of the Sustainable Production Alliance (SPA), a consortium of the world’s leading film, television and streaming companies dedicated to advancing sustainability in the industry. She is also a founder, in partnership with the Producers Guild of America, of GreenProductionGuide.com, an online resource for filmmakers internationally offering free tools, a vendor guide, and other resources to help shows understand and reduce their environmental impacts. Lisa earned her B.A. from New College and her JD from the UCLA School of Law.

Manager of Environmental Sustainability
Christian Del Maestro is a CSR professional with over a decade of experience focusing on improving the environmental performance of consumer goods. Currently Christian is a Manager of Environmental Sustainability at Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products. At Disney, Christian is working behind the scenes to deliver more sustainable consumer products though better materials, packaging choices and factory considerations. Prior to joining Disney, Christian worked as a sustainability consultant at Clean Agency supporting clients such as Nestlé, ASICS, Liz Claiborne, Mattel and Avery Dennison. Christian holds a Masters in Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School at UCSB and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.

Said in a memo to its executive leadership that it is shifting how it evaluates executive compensation, replacing the former “Diversity & Inclusion” factor, with a “Talent Strategy” factor. This will assess how leaders uphold company values, “incorporate different perspectives to drive business success,” and “cultivate an environment where all employees can thrive.” (Feb 2025)
Clean Mobil Power Initiative — CEF members Netflix and The Walt Disney Company, along with RMI and climate tech accelerator Third Derivative, have launched this initiative to identify and deliver cost-competitive, zero-emissions mobile power at scale for the entertainment industry, including developing alternatives to diesel generators. The initiative will bring together representatives from leading production studios with equipment suppliers and cleantech manufacturers. 5-10 “innovative startups” are invited to apply to participate in a clean mobile power accelerator program, with selection in early fall.
